A MINI VACATION

This was so far one of the best holidays we have ever been. Since I like castles and all the earlier era, I was overjoyed to finally been to a place called castle.

Wim and I flew from Rotterdam to London and then we went to get our rental car. From London, we drove to Windsor Castle, been inside, took photos, and I believe one of the castle ghosts would like to play with our camera so it fell and I almost cried, worried that we couldn't make anymore photos during our holiday. Anyway, we managed to go to a few tours inside the castle. One of my favourites is the Queen Mary's Doll House.

After Windsor, we drove down to Bristol and found a hotel. Having someone's else car without car nagivator is not really easy. While looking for a hotel, I had a stomach-flu attack. Felt like feverish and cold and sweating but thank God we found our hotel. It is an old hotel from 18th century, used to be convent for the nuns and then a Gentlemen's club. The interior was decorated beautifully and I felt like I was in the 18th century again. The only difference is the morning room, where we took our breakfast. The roof is transparent, a glass roof and plants all over the corner and the room is decorated with green plants as well.

The next day, we left the hotel and went to Bath. I was so happy to be at Jane Austen's Centre and be at the famous place during the earlier period especially Regency and Victorian era. We took our sweet time to walk around the city and enjoyed the place. Wim likes to check out the price of the cameras, videos etc. So, we saw one digital camera, Olympus and after comparing the price in the Netherlands, we bought it. Now we had two toys. I was not sad anymore, of course the one 'kapot' has been fixed by a guy in the hotel.

After Bath, we drove to Wales. On the way, we saw many places and as usual I took pictures whenever possible.

Bath
