Dear Relatives, Being a member of a big family from the one man who came to our land, the Land Below The Wind (Sabah), in the 19th century from the mainland China, I am glad that I can contribute something to the honourable Mr Joe Manjaji. Mr Joe Manjaji (my great-uncle) is the founder of Wong Loong Family Tree book which was first published in 1988. Ten years later, the second edition followed. As our family keep on growing, guess another 10 years is too long to get another update of the family tree book. So I´m honoured to announce that the third edition is now available (launched in July 2004) for you. The contents of our online family tree is based on the second edition and edited each time we have new members. The idea of publishing our family tree in our website started when I visited family in Sabah in Oct 2002. After getting a copy of the family tree book, I asked for permission from Aki Joe through his daughter Jane. I am so grateful that I have the blessings from Aki Joe and that my permission is granted to allow me to share this information with you should you have not had a copy of this book. Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) Q: How to go through the family tree? A: Click any name that you know your grandparent/great-greatparent and it will bring you to the page that they are placed. For instance, my great-grandfather is Ligunjang, click Ligunjang and it will bring you to him and his clan. Q: I am looking for my grandmother´s name called Arlinis. But I don´t know which page she is in this website. What is the simplest way to find her name? A: Press the buttons Control and F at the same time, and type the name that you are looking for. And then click Search Next. You can just click the Search Next until you find the name/person you are looking for. Q: How to contact other relatives? A: We have a site at MSN called WongLoongDescendants. You may join by applying it. And only if you´re one of Wong Loongs. And oh, please mention in which root are you from. TQ. Q: These are old info. We have addition in our family. Could you add them and how do I know if they are added? A: Yes, I copied the details from the 2nd edition book.
