Visits and Appointments (Part 02)

Want to visit Co? Sure, go pick up the phone and ask her when she can have us. So, here I was with Co on the phone.

"Hey, Co. It has been a long time since we last see each other (if 5 weeks is long for you). Is it ok for you if we drop by for a while this weekend?"

"Oh, let me get my agenda. No, I have made appointments this weekend. And next weekend Pete's parents are coming over."

"What a pity! :( What about the weekend after that?"

"Not possible. My sister's birthday so we have to go to her house in Hellevoetsluis. The best is 6 weeks after this weekend."

"OK, see you in 6 weeks time."

Finally! A social gathering with friends in one a half month time. Can you imagine? If you miss your friends, you can only see them after several weeks time. You cannot just drop by and show your smile and big eyes with "SURPRISE". No way. That does not work here, baby. Forget the surprise.

And if you wished to meet your own father or brother, a phone call beforehand might be a good idea too.
